Sega Announces 4mb V?-MU

Sega has just announced that they will be releasing a 4mb memory card for the Dreamcast. Sega has yet to release any details about this except its capacity. However they are still unsure as to whether it will include a built in LCD screen for mini-games. There will be more news here as soon as it becomes available, so watch this space.

Dreamcast VMU battery fix

People have been wondering about the last ability of the Dreamcast VMU battery and its true they don't last very long at all. To stop the battery from going flat so quick try and keep the tab that you pulled out the back of the VMU to get it working. You need to keep it because that will stop the battery from going flat so quick. When you have your VMU plugged into the back of the controller it is still using its battery even though it is getting power from the Dreamcast itself. In VMU sleep mode the battery is still getting drained as well.

Fix

When you are playing with your Dreamcast and the VMU is in the back of the controller put the tab in to save its battery.
When you are playing VMU games pull the tab out and put it back when you have finished.
Do not leave the VMU in the back of the controller because the batteries will drain!

*NOTE* I am not sure if this method works because I threw my tab away when I got the machine. I heard this method on Teletext. Please keep me posted with any news by E-mailing me.
